UAE visit visa: how it works
Visitors who are not visa-exempt need a UAE visit visa arranged before they travel. The visa is issued electronically through a sponsor, such as a licensed travel company, a hotel, an airline or a relative living in the UAE. Rambelz applies as your sponsor, so you only need to send your documents.
What you need
- Passport valid for at least 6 months, showing both a given name and a surname
- A clear colour scan of the passport bio page
- A recent photo on a white background
- Depending on your nationality, a confirmed return ticket and hotel booking
Tips to avoid delays
- Check that the name on your passport has both a first name and a surname. Single-name passports can be refused.
- Send clear, uncropped scans. Blurry pages are the most common cause of delays.
- Apply at least a week before travel in busy periods such as Eid, school holidays and December.
- Leave the UAE before your visa expires. Overstay fines are charged per day.
Visiting the UAE
Most visitors combine Dubai and Abu Dhabi. See our Dubai 4-day holiday, a desert safari or a private city tour.
